How utilities will meet the renewable mandate

A bill requiring Minnesota utility companies to get 25 percent of their power from renewable sources by the year 2025 is headed to Governer Tim Pawlenty's desk, and he is expected to sign it into law.

MPR's Perri Finelli talked with Carol Tombari with the Colorado-based National Renewable Energy Laboratory about the opportunities and challenges utility companies will face in meeting this mandate.
