Participants in Minnesota's Super Tuesday caucuses selected delegates who will play an important role in the U.S. Senate race in Minnesota.

Those delegates will move on to a district or county convention where delegates for the state conventions are picked.

On the DFL side, the delegates at the state convention will decide who will run against incumbent Republican Sen. Norm Coleman.

MPR's Perry Finelli talked to two delegates from Tuesday's caucuses. Gordon Prickett of Aitkin has been a delegate at four state DFL conventions, and Marian Severt of Brainerd is a first-time DFL delegate.
