If you have been following along, there is a lot of buzz in the air, not from the bees that escaped in California, but about the snowfall coming to southern Minnesota tonight and Friday.
Travel plans for those heading south of the Twin Cities later tonight and Friday morning will need to include an awareness of likely delays. The remainder of the Easter weekend looks to be seasonably cool but mainly dry.
March is the second snowiest month in Minnesota. Just last year it snowed several inches in April in the Twin Cities. Perhaps I've been around weather too long to get real giddy about a heavy wet March snow in Minnesota! By all accounts, this impending weather calamity appears to be survivable for most of us. That said, be cautious on the roadways if traveling the next 24 hours.
