'Son of Rambow' director enhances his childhood memories

When Garth Jennings and Nick Goldsmith made the movie "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" a couple of years ago, they set aside the film the really wanted to make.

"Son of Rambow" tells the story of two British boys in 1980 who are inspired by Sylvester Stallone to make their own action flick.

Goldsmith and Jennings — Nick Goldsmith and Garth Jennings cut their creative teeth making music videos. Now after making "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" they have made "Son of Rambow."

Jennings and Goldsmith told Minnesota Public Radio's Euan Kerr they were in a way living out some of their own childhood fantasies.
