The DFL Party held a news conference this afternoon that featured a George W. Bush impersonator. They said the actor (The Brave New Workshop's Josh Eakright) or a "facsimile" will follow GOP Sen. Norm Coleman across the state over the next month. They want to draw attention to Coleman's voting record with President Bush.
This ranks right up there with the John Kerry flip-flops and the Tim Penny Waffleman.
Meanwhile....
The Minnesota Republican Party is calling on TV stations to stop showing this Al Franken ad because they argue that "franken concocts a fake document with the questionable use of the presidential seal."
Policy junkies should get their fill tomorrow when Franken and Coleman square off at Farmfest.
