As I toured the neighborhood this morning in the southwest Metro, I came across some patchy frost in the valleys. Conditions were nearly ideal for frost in the Minnesota River Valley, with clear skies, light winds and dew points in the lower 30s.
The blob of cool air that has sat over Minnesota and the Great Lakes will slide east on Saturday and we will experience more opportunties for showers and thundershowers. It would be beneficial to get a nice recharge of the moisture before heading into winter. Although significant rains could slow the fall harvest.
