The transition from the Bush administration to the Obama administration will be unique for a number of reasons. For one thing, it's the first transition of power during wartime since Richard Nixon took over from Lyndon Johnson in 1969.

Washington Post associate editor Bob Woodward has written four books now about the war in Iraq. In them, he draws heavily on exclusive access to officials and documents inside the Bush White House, including interviews with the president himself.

His latest book is called "The War Within: A Secret White House History 2006-2008."

Woodward is in Minnesota Thursday for an invitation-only speech at Dorsey & Whitney's Corporate Counsel Symposium. He joined MPR's Tom Crann to talk about President George Bush, Iraq and what happens in the transition to the Obama presidency.
