Remember last week when forecasters were painting a dire picture for harsh winter weather arriving in Minnesota for Saturday and Sunday? How did they do? You are encouraged to provide feedback on a survey that is posted on the NWS Chanhassen and Duluth web site.
And how about the Old Farmer's Almanac, predicting record cold for the 12th through th 16th for our region of the country. Recall this is published in late August or early September. They didn't have the snow predicted on the 13th and 14th!
Surely, long range forecasters are happy that on November 30, the Climate Prediction Center updated the December outlook that took most of the state of Minnesota out of the favored above normal temperature category.
