All-clear after morning gas leak in St. Paul

Officials have given the all-clear after a natural gas leak forced an evacuation of a neighborhood on St. Paul's east side this morning.

Gas escaping from a main line had prompted authorities to evacuate the city's Mounds Park and send away some residents of a nearby nursing home.

Xcel Energy shut off the gas to the leaking main shortly after it was discovered.
