Everybody knows a banjo joke or two. But what happens when the plucky bluegrass instrument takes over a band? Can you have too much of a good thing?

Two Many Banjos is the creation of banjoist and songwriter Marc Gartman. Along with fellow banjo player Dave Carroll from the Duluth-based band Trampled By Turtles, they've formed a five-piece band to play mostly original material. It's not traditional bluegrass by any means, just music that lends itself to banjos; in this case, two of them.

Two Many Banjos stopped in the Radio Heartland studios recently to perform songs from their fourth and latest album, "Can't Slow Me Down."

Songs performed, "13,000 Railroad Men," "Maybelle," and "Diddo Kiddo."
