Minnesotans can be forgiven if they have election fatigue right now, after the drawn-out U.S. Senate election here. However, talk is already swirling about next year's governor's race.

Common Cause has been one of the most vocal advocacy groups for election reform across the country, including here in Minnesota.

Most recently, Common Cause has criticized Gov. Pawlenty for de-funding the state's political contribution refund program. It was part of the governor's unallotments and it means that people who donate $50 to a political candidate cannot get that money back from the state.

The President of Common Cause is former Congressman Bob Edgar. He's in Minnesota this week and he joined Tom Crann to talk about elections and election reform.
