Two men died early Sunday morning in Todd County after their cars collided, police said.
Jacob Hughes, 16, of Litchfield, was driving his 1993 Pontiac Grand AM north on Highway 71 when he crossed into the southbound lanes and crashed into a Buick Regal driven by Tod Walther, 46, of Long Prairie.
Both men were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident, which occurred shortly before 7 a.m., officials said.
The Long Prairie Police Department and the Todd County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene.
