MnDOT holding public hearing on Greater Minnesota Plan
The Minnesota Department of Transportation plans to hold a public hearing to seek feedback on the 20-year Greater Minnesota Transit Plan.
The hearing will be held via video conference at 15 locations statewide on Oct. 8 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Transportation officials will give a presentation about the plan, and will then solicit comments.
The 2010-2030 transit plan identifies long-term needs and goals for public transportation throughout Greater Minnesota. Transportation officials have identified several key areas, including maintaining and expanding public transit, addressing the changing mobility needs of residents and the workforce, changing transit options, and coordinating services.
