Veto override vote could come this week

A partisan showdown is looming at the State Capitol this week over health care coverage for thousands of low income adults. DFL leaders in the House and Senate say they'll try to override Gov. Tim Pawlenty's veto of a bill to extend General Assistance Medical Care, which passed by wide bipartisan margins. But Republicans in the House are promising a united front to uphold the governor's veto. MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with reporter Tim Pugmire, who's keeping an eye that and other issues at the Capitol.
