Minnesota roads were a lot safer last year -- especially for motorcyclists. A new report from the Minnesota Department of Public Safety shows motorcycle fatalities dropped 26 percent in 2009.

MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Pat Hahn who works for the Department of Public Safety's Minnesota Motorcycle Safety project. He's also an avid motorcycle rider.
