Delta Air Lines is boosting its international service from the Twin Cities with new non-stop flights between Mexico City, Paris and London.
Service to and from Mexico City is still pending approval from the Mexican government. The move will usher in the first nonstop service ever between the two cities.
Delta's also planning to make its non stop flights between the Twin Cities and Paris available not just seasonally, but year round. And the airline will increase its nonstop flights from the Twin Cities to London this winter, making them available seven days a week, up from five.
Atlanta-based Delta acquired Northwest Airlines in 2008. The additional flights may ease concerns that Delta would scale back international service in the Twin Cities.
