A boating accident in Cass County has claimed one life, and a missing kayaker is presumed dead in a separate report from Itasca County.
The boating accident happened Friday night on Ten Mile Lake. Authorities say two boats collided just before midnight, throwing a 19-year-old man from the boat he was driving.
Divers found his body in 20 feet of water.
On Saturday, Itasca County authorities were searching a lake north of Grand Rapids for the 22-year-old kayaker.

Sheriff Pat Medure says the kayaker disappeared into the waters of Deer Lake on Friday about 3:30 p.m. Authorities searched for him until late Friday, then resumed their search Saturday morning.
The sheriff says the kayaker is presumed drowned.
