Separate Minn. water sports claim 1 life, maybe 2
A boating accident in Cass County has claimed one life, and a missing kayaker is presumed dead in a separate report from Itasca County.
The boating accident happened Friday night on Ten Mile Lake. Authorities say two boats collided just before midnight, throwing a 19-year-old man from the boat he was driving.
Divers found his body in 20 feet of water.
On Saturday, Itasca County authorities were searching a lake north of Grand Rapids for the 22-year-old kayaker.
