VP Biden to campaign for Dayton at Macalester rally, private fundraiser
The public will have a chance to see Vice President Joe Biden next week when he comes to Minnesota to campaign for DFL gubernatorial candidate Mark Dayton.
The vice president will headline a public rally for Mark Dayton Tuesday morning at Macalester College in St. Paul. The free event is scheduled from 9:00 to 11:00 at the Leonard Center Field House.
Following the public rally, Biden will attend a private Dayton fundraiser. An invitation to that event listed a range of tickets from $150 for young professionals to $2,000 for a luncheon chair.
Dayton received fundraising help from former president Bill Clinton two weeks ago. There's no official word yet about whether President Barack Obama will campaign in Minnesota this year.
