Thomson Reuters cuts 60 jobs in Eagan

Thomson Reuters says it will cut about 60 jobs at its Eagan campus.

The company says it is adding some jobs but cutting even more. Thomson Reuters publishes legal and business information and offers online research services.

In a statement, the company said the legal industry has undergone significant changes over the past two years and it's making internal changes to better position Thomson Reuters to grow.

Employees losing their jobs will be offered a severance package.

Last December, Thomson Reuters cut 120 workers in Eagan. The company still has about 7,000 employees there.
