Widespread snow, bypassing northeast Minnesota
A steady snowfall is expected over west central and south central Minnesota this evening and into tonight. Computer models are now painting a broad swath of snow through Iowa as well.
If your travel plans are taking you by auto to the south and west of the Twin Cities, you will encounter slick roadways overnight.
Most of the accumulating snow will be confined south of a line from Bemidji to Pine City about Eau Claire.
