Stillwater family adopts 2 orphans from Haiti

A Stillwater family of eight has grown with the arrival of two children from Haiti.

Bill and Mary Kratz got word last week that the adoption of a 7-year-old boy and 10-year-old girl was complete and that they could be picked up from an orphanage in Port-au-Prince.

Mary Kratz left for the capital city Saturday and arrived at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport early Wednesday with the children. Family members and others greeted them with balloons and welcome signs.

KSTP-TV says the Kratzs have six other children, including five boys. Nine-year-old Maria Kratz says she's excited to finally have a sister.
