Wisconsin state troopers were dispatched earlier today to the homes of a number of Senate Democrats, but reportedly did not find Senators therein.
Fourteen Senate Democrats left the state eight days ago rather than vote on a bill taking away collective bargaining rights from public workers. Senate Republicans cannot bring up the bill without a quorum.
Meanwhile, there was some action in the lower house of the state legislature, the state Assembly, and Jason Stein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel joins All Things Considered host Tom Crann once again for an update.
