Since the events of last weekend, there have been many questions directed my way about Minnesota's tornado history. Greg Carbin of the NOAA-Storm Prediction Center has compiled the annual tornado statistics for MN since 1950. So here they are with the annual reported tornadoes shown in parentheses......please note the very low numbers associated with drought years (such as 1976 and 1988).
