Nearly every Wisconsin town has at least one bar or tavern. Many taverns are a throwback to a different time and place and they are celebrated in a new book and photo exhibit that opens today in West Bend, Wis.

The photos in the book "Tavern League: Portraits of Wisconsin Bars" were take by Wisconsin photographer Carl Corey over two years of traveling the Badger State. He spoke with MPR's Cathy Wurzer from Bob Smith's Sports Club in Hudson, Wis.
