Twins prep fans for scorching doubleheader

The Minnesota Twins say they're going to take some extra steps to help keep fans cool today. The team is playing a doubleheader in some of the muggiest and hottest weather on record.
"We always have allowed fans to bring in their own sealed water bottles of up to 32 ounces in size or less," says Twins spokesman Kevin Smith. "And so what we're going to do is basically set up big coolers at the gates and other locations, where fans can refill those water bottles."
The team is also asking fans to keep an eye on other people in the stands and be alert to heat distress.
The Twins and the Cleveland Indians are playing a 12:10 game to make up for a rainout on April 22. The high temperature was 45 that day. The two teams will square off again for a night game at 7:10 tonight.
MPR meteorologist Craig Edwards says that heat index values could range between 105 and 115 today, with temperatures as much as 15 degrees warmer in the direct sun.
