Labor demand in Minnesota fell in July
Labor demand in Minnesota fell in July, according to a report out Monday from the New York-based Conference Board.
Job vacancies posted online in the state fell by 7,800 in July. However, the Conference Board says labor demand in the state is still on an upward trend.
There were roughly two job seekers for every vacancy posted online in Minnesota in July. That's better than the national average of three job seekers per online job posting last month.
The Conference Board says the national trend in labor demand turned negative in the second quarter of 2011, after showing improvements in the first three months of the year.
