It was a deadly weekend on Minnesota roads, as authorities reported 10 fatal crashes.

The most recent fatality happened Sunday night, when 75-year-old Norma Flanigan, of St. Cloud, was walking crossing Broadway Street in New Ulm when she was struck and killed at about 8:30 p.m. Police reported an 80-year-old Courtland man was driving the car.

Another person was killed Sunday in a broadside, 2-car crash on Highway 210 between Fergus Falls and Battle Lake on Sunday afternoon. Seven other people were in the vehicles at the time of the crash.

Two people from Chicago, Connie Dimopoulos, 65, and Angelo Dimopoulos, 70, were killed when their car was broadsided on Highway 52 south of Cannon Falls on Saturday in a crash that injured three others.

James Holm, 52 and of Faribault, was killed Saturday morning when his car ran off the road and hit a power pole in Faribault.

A rollover killed a 37-year-old Jeremy Topper, of Cohasset, near Keewatin on Saturday.

The Kandyohi County Sheriff's office reported two Wilmar men, 28-year-old David Arroyo-Morales, and 29-year-old Alberto Arroyo-Morales, were killed in a crash west of New London on Saturday.

Abigail Wendland, 16, of Waseca was killed Friday afternoon when her car was struck by a semi-trailer. And 55-year-old Samuel Grossman, of Cohasset, was killed when his vehicle crossed Highway 169 and hit a parked semi-trailer head on.
