Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann's campaign says the congresswoman will deliver a foreign policy speech in Mt. Pleasant, SC Thursday, "that will lay out her framework for protecting the country against security threats while improving U.S. foreign relations."
Bachmann has criticized the Obama administration for what she says is its failure to stand behind the U.S. alliance with Israel. Bachmann has also criticized the administration for U.S. involvement in Libya,and she's called the decision to remove U.S. troops from Iraq by the end of the year a political move.
Bachmann has been campaigning in South Carolina this week. She will be in Michigan Wednesday evening with the other GOP candidates for a debate before heading back to South Carolina for more campaigning before another debate Saturday in Spartanburg, SC.
