On Saturday will be a remembrance for Ellen Pence and her work in the field of domestic abuse prevention. She is internationally renowned for creating the "Duluth Model," now a standard for people involved in domestic violence to be treated within the justice system.
Pence died last week at the age of 63 from breast cancer. Her funeral will be in St. Paul.
Pence's longtime friend and Duluth Model colleague Rep. Michael Paymar of St Paul speaks with MPR.
