MPR's Dan Kraker reports on sexual abuse in Grand Marais

The courthouse shooting in Grand Marais last December has since fallen off the news pages, but the events leading up to the violence remain a topic of urgent debate in the scenic town on Lake Superior.

Daniel Schlienz opened fire and wounded three people shortly after he was convicted of criminal sexual conduct for having sex with a 15 year old when he was in his mid-30s. His conviction and subsequent death exposed a rift in the community over a history of older men sexually pursuing teenage girls in the town.

Reporter Dan Kraker spent more than six weeks researching this history and he joins Cathy Wurzer to talk about his findings.
