A Minnesota Senate committee is taking up a proposed constitutional amendment that would make the payment of union dues voluntary. Opponents and supporters of what's called the "right-to-work" measure are expected to pack a public hearing Monday morning.
Committee hearings are also likely this week for the long-awaited Vikings stadium bill, and last month's state economic forecast continues to fuel budget talk.
