A storm producing tornadoes, heavy rain and hail hit central Minnesota Tuesday evening.

The National Weather Service reported hail fell in Albany in Stearns County covering the ground and breaking car windshields.

"To have three tornados in one county at one time, is pretty rare in my experience, said Stearns County Emergency Management Director Marvin Klug.

The tornadoes briefly touched down in farm fields. Klug said he is still assessing whether there's been any damage.
