The best songs of summer 2012

"Call Me Maybe" is known as this year's song of summer. But is it yours?

Tomorrow we will be listening and discussing the best songs or albums this summer.

The Daily Circuit team share their songs of summer:

Chris Dall: "Riding in My Car" by NRBQ. Best summer song ever.

Maddy Mahon: "I love it" by Icona pop

Kryssy Pease: Rhett Miller: "Out Of Love"

I've been a huge fan of him (and his band The Old 97s) for a long time and was thrilled when I got to meet him this spring when he played at Wits. His latest album came out in June and he'll be here in October on tour.

Of Monsters and Men "Little Talks" is just a super fun song.

Alex DiPalma: Twin Shadow - Patient

Chromatics - Lady

Frank Ocean - Pyramids

Emily Kaiser: Beach House's new album, "Bloom"

And can't get Lumineers' "Ho Hey" out of my head.

Anna Pickrell: I've been listening to "Angels" by The XX a lot since it came out in July. But "The Only Place" by Best Coast is a little more summery.

Eric Ringham: "Rocky Ground" by Bruce Springsteen

Meggan Ellingboe: Luckily, I get to listen to a lot of music and make playlists as a yoga and yoga sculpt instructor. These ones have been fun to incorporate this summer.

Hot Chip- "In Our Heads" album

Beach House- "Lazuli"

Flo Rider - "Wild Ones"

What's on your summer 2012 playlist? And what albums or concerts are you looking forward to this fall?
