Many Wells Fargo customers have been having trouble accessing the bank's online services.
SiteDown.co, which tracks websites that are slow or out of commission has received about 1,200 complaints about Wells Fargo's website this week.
A Wells Fargo spokeswoman said the bank's website is seeing an unusually high volume of traffic. The traffic is characteristic of cyberattacks meant to deny access to a site by overwhelming it.
