MN Orchestra cancels more concerts

The Minnesota Orchestra on Monday canceled two more concerts in the third week of February, postponed another till next year and transferred a fourth to another promoter.

The moves come as the contract dispute between management and musicians remains unresolved, despite recent talks.

The cancelled classical concerts on Feb. 14 and 15 were to have featured a program of Edward Elgar. A presentation of the movie "Casablanca" with live musical accompaniment will move to next year, and a concert by the Kodo Taiko drumming ensemble will now be presented by Sue McLean and Associates at the Minneapolis Convention Center in February.
