Minn. job openings fall in February
Job openings posted online dipped in February, nationwide and in Minnesota according to the latest report from The Conference Board.
The research group says demand for workers, as expressed through job openings on websites like Monster.com, fell by 2,300 in Minnesota last month.
However, the trendlines for Minnesota and the nation are rising, as labor demand improves.
For every 10 job postings there are roughly 14 unemployed Minnesotans. Nationally, it's more like 24 unemployed people competing for every 10 openings.
