It's a big weekend for festivals in Minnesota.
• The Shepherd's Harvest Fest runs 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Lake Elmo. Admission and parking are free.
• It's a great weekend for bird watching, and the St. Paul Audubon Society Spring Warbler weekend takes place along Lake Pepin near Frontenac.
• The Carley Bluebell Fest with plant sales, wildlife walks, activities for kids and other events runs through Saturday in Plainview and at Carley State Park.
