MN Fringe Festival hires new Executive Director
The Minnesota Fringe Festival's new leader comes from within the ranks.
Current Associate Director, Jeff Larson, will succeed Robin Gillette as Executive Director of the annual theater festival. Larson will take on the new role in September.
Larson has been with the Minnesota Fringe since 1999, when he started as a technician. From there he went on to be named Technical Director in 2001, Director of Production and Sponsorship in 2007 and Associate Director in 2009. Larson holds degrees in both Management and Theater from the University of Minnesota. He is also a graduate of the Lincoln Center Directors’ Lab, and has worked with many theaters in the Twin Cities.
Robin Gillette has served as Executive Director of the organization since 2006. The Minnesota Fringe Festival is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. The 2013 festival is scheduled August 1-11.
