Multiple people injured in I-94 crash near Rogers

At least five people were injured in a crash on Interstate 94 near Rogers, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The crash occurred just after 10:00 a.m., and at least two people had to be airlifted from the scene, said State Patrol spokesman Eric Roeske.

The crash has closed the westbound side of the freeway from I-494 to Rogers, and is causing major backups in both directions.

UPDATE: I-94 has reopened.
