• Prairie Pothole Day is Saturday in New London, Minn., with live demonstrations and competitions happening all day long.
• Chanhassen 5th annual Nordic Music Festival, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. There you can enjoy music from Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark, along with traditional Nordic crafts and food at Lake Minnewashta Park.
• Defeat of Jesse James Days runs through through Sunday in Northfield, Minn., with a re-enactment of his bank robbery, horseshoe hunt and a bike tour.
