Bears coach to face his hometown team the Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings head to Chicago on Sunday for a noon game. The Bears' new head coach will be familiar to some Minnesota football fans. Marc Trestman played three seasons as quarterback for the Golden Gophers in the 1970s.

He's a graduate of St. Louis Park High School. Trestman has translated his quarterback experience into a successful coaching career. Most recently, he coached in the Canadian Football league, leading Montreal to back-to-back championships. MPR's Phil Picardi spoke about Trestman with Howard Sinker, a digital sports editor at the Star Tribune.
