One dead, one injured after Minneapolis shooting

Police say one man is dead and another injured after a shooting near downtown Minneapolis last night.

Police say the driver and passenger pulled up to Hennepin County Medical Center just before 2 a.m. The shooting appears to have occurred near 15th Street and Chicago Avenue South, according to police spokeswoman Cyndi Barrington.

The driver is listed in critical condition and the passenger died at the hospital.

There are no suspects in custody, and police say they have no information on who might have shot the two people.

Investigators have been working at the hospital and what they believe to be the scene of the shooting.

They are asking for anyone with information to contact authorities.
