Minn. foreclosures continue to decline

About 3,000 Minnesota homes were foreclosed on from July through September, a third fewer than during the same period last year.

That's according to HousingLink, a non-profit housing information and referral organization.

Foreclosure levels are still roughly twice as high as they were before the housing crisis, but the number of foreclosures in Minnesota in the third quarter hit its lowest level since 2006, the group said in a report released Wednesday.
