Today's music is Ray Price and Vince Gill with "Heartaches by the Number" from the 2007 album "Last of the Breed."

That album, which also featured Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard, was the last top ten record for Ray Price.

Price died yesterday at the age of 87.

The Country music hall of famer recorded seven songs that reached the top of the country charts. He popularized Texas honky tonk and the orchestral arrangements of the Nashville sound.

Kris Kristofferson called Price the link between Hank Williams and the country music of today.
