Fred Armisen, co-star and co-creator of the comedy show "Portlandia," will be at The Cedar Cultural Center on Tuesday, March 18 to give an advanced screening of the new season.
"Portlandia" could easily be dubbed the spiritual sister city of the Twin Cities, with its high density of hipsters, biking, bookstores and urban farming.
Armisen is also a known lover of public radio, having fooled many a die-hard listener with his imitation of Ira Glass. And in the new season, Portlandia has some fun with "A Prairie Home Companion."
I'm guessing Armisen's visit to the Twin Cities will feel just like home.
