'Seasons in the Sun' originally from France

Today's music is from 40 years ago this week when "Seasons in the Sun" by Canadian singer Terry Jacks was the number one song on the U.S. pop charts. It is a translation of the French song "Le Moribond" by the popular Belgian-born singer Jacques Brel. The original French version about the laments of a dying man included verses about his unfaithful wife. The Terry Jacks version left that part out.
