Spring arrived in Minnesota at the same time as baseball and the hope of a new season.

, photojournalist Jeffrey Thompson tried a new way to capture the mood of the new season. 

These photographs were made using the multiple exposure function on the Canon 5D Mark III digital camera. Each photo is a compilation of three individual images that were made in succession and combined together in the camera.
