A state Senate committee is expected to vote on medical marijuana this morning. Sen. Scott Dibble has been pushing to legalize medical marijuana for years. His bill to do so will go before the Senate health committee -- with several parents slated to testify that their children have medical conditions that could be aided by marijuana use.

At a press conference earlier this week Gov. Mark Dayton pressed legislators to vote on marijuana legislation though he did not specify what form of that legislation -- if any -- he is ready to support. MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Dibble, of Minneapolis.
