Not wearing life jacket a key factor in water deaths
It's going to be another warm day across the state. The weather has some Minnesotans back out fishing and boating but this spring the water could be dangerous. A young teen died in the Mississippi River near St. Paul over the weekend, and a man missing in the St. Croix is also presumed to have drowned. MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Kara Owens is Boat and Water Safety Specialist for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources about staying safe in and around water.
