Abdi Aynte on the death of Saado Ali Warsame

The Somali community is still trying to come to grips with the death of Saado Ali Warsame. The internationally renowned Somali singer and lawmaker was assasinated this week in Mogadishu by the militant group al-Shabab.

Warsame lived in Minnesota from 2007 through 2012, when she returned to Somalia to run for parliament.
